SHOW JUMPING LEAGUE RULES

Their will be three CRC show jumping leagues in 2025, points will be awarded across the SIX events listed above:

Mini League: 30cm, 40cm & 50cm

Midi League: 60cm, 70cm & 80cm

Maxi league: 90cm, 100cm & 105cm

Points will be awarded in league classes per combination where the rider is a CRC member$: 1st place = 10 points, 2nd place = 9 points, 3rd place = 8 points, 4th place = 7 points, 5th place = 6 points, 6th place = 5 point. non placed entries will receive 1 point

Rosettes from 1st-6th and trophies for each league winner will be awarded at the club’s AGM at the end of the year.

*Black Isle Farmer’s society qualifiers – combinations with a double clear round in these classes will qualify to compete in the finals held on Wednesday 6th August at the Black Isle Show. (League points are not awarded for BIFS qualifying classes)

**Turriff Show Junior Open Unaffiliated Final  – Monday 4th August 2025. The first six ponies (148cm and under) placed with riders 16 and under on the day of the final will qualify providing they have jumped clear in the first round, disregarding those already qualified.

$To be eligible for league points at a show jumping event, riders must be CRC club members prior to the closing date of the competition

CRC RULES

  1. Competitions will be run under British Riding Club Rules with the addition of the rules below
  2. Entries cancelled by the withdrawal date will have their entry fee refunded (excluding transaction fees) however late withdrawals will forfeit their entry fee.
  3. The decision of the Judges and/or any CRC Official will be final – all CRC Stewards and Organisers must be obeyed at all times
  4. At any CRC event, everyone mounted, whether competing or not must wear a hard hat conforming to the minimum safety standards, with a harness properly adjusted and fastened. Failure to do so will incur elimination from the competition. Hats must be marked to standard as per BRC rules.
  5. The Caledonian Riding Club do not accept any liability for accident or damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, ground spectators or any other persons or property.
  6. It is the responsibility of all competitors to ensure they are adequately insured to enter and compete
  7. The making of an entry implies acceptance of the conditions above

Entry Fees:

£9.00 per class for Caledonian Riding Club members, £12.00  per class for non-members
