Caledonian Riding Club 2026 Dates
From the 1st of March we are changing our entry process on a trial basis, to make it cheaper for everyone. All competitions and training to be entered via our new email address eventscaledonianridingclub@gmail.com the Annual show and In Hand show will still be run through entry master.

April

  • 30th April Show Jumping (League)– B.I.S.G – XPoles, 30cm, 40cm, 50cm, 60cm, 70cm, 80cm, 90cm, 100cm
    Round of fences with jump off in the second half of the round
    Start time will be confirmed nearer the event. if anyone would like to do higher heights than advertised please just let us know. Closing date 27th April.
    please email with the classes you want to enter, horse and rider names, and if your a member or not.
    £10 per round for members and £13 per round non members

May

  • 6th May Dressage Competition (League) (Evening) at Littleburn with Stephen Cruickshank judging
    Intro 2 & 3*
    Prelim 2 & 3*
    Novice 2 & 3*
    Elementary 2*
    In hand class intro 1
    Classes with * beside them are league classes. Remember you have to be a member to be in the league.
    £10 for members and £14 non members.
    Closing date 3rd May
  • 16th May Summer Show – B.I.S.G – enter via entry master
  • 17th May Working Hunter Training – with Ashleigh Reilly at the black isle show ground, with a full working hunter course.
    Groups of 3 £30 for members and £40 for non-members
    Closing date 13th May
  • 23rd May XC style training with David Gatherer at Reelig (on grass)
    £50 members *£47 for CRC members going to area22 championships* £60 non-members
    Closing date 20th May

    *anyone going to area 22 championships that have entered to Becky Milns and paid to go can get this price.

  • 28th June #doitformhairi fundraising Arena Event and Dressage (DR League) – B.I.S.G

This years #doitformhairi fundraising event is in aid of the World Horse Welfare The arena event composes of up to 20 fences consisting of SJ phase followed by a timed XC phase (not fixed) with an optional joker fence to finish.  The Arena event will run from x poles to 105cm.  Current standard jockey skull caps and body protectors must be worn.

Our Dressage (League) competition will run along side the arena event. All tests with * beside them are the league tests. Entries available for Area Event and Dressage Competition via https://caledonianrc.lite.events/ See event info for full details and rules.
