DRESSAGE LEAGUE RULES
In 2025 points will be awarded across league classes (marked with an asterisk) at the SIX events listed above in the following CRC leagues:
Intro League Novice League
Prelim League Elementary League (will only be run if enough interest in this level)
Combinations will only be eligible to earn points in one league level across the season and at each competition there will be one test run in each level as a league class*. Combinations may enter tests across two consecutive levels e.g. intro and prelim or prelim and novice. If a competitor receives ≥67% three times at a league level they will be encouraged to move up.
Points will be awarded in league classes per combination, where the rider is a CRC member$: 1st place = 10 points, 2nd place = 9 points, 3rd place = 8 points, 4th place = 7 points, 5th place = 6 points, 6th place = 5 point. Non placed entries will receive 1 point
Rosettes from 1st-6th and trophies for each league winner awarded will be awarded at the club’s AGM at the end of the year..
$To be eligible for league points, riders must be CRC club members prior to the closing date of the competition
CRC RULES
- Competitions will be run under British Riding Club Rules with the addition of the rules below
- At Dressage competitions horses/ponies may only compete at two consecutive levels, i.e. Prelim & Novice, Novice & Elementary
- Entries cancelled by the closing date will have their entry fee refunded (excluding transaction fees) however late withdrawals will forfeit their entry fee.
- The decision of the Judges and/or any CRC Official will be final – all CRC Stewards and Organisers must be obeyed at all times
- At any CRC event, everyone mounted, whether competing or not must wear a hard hat conforming to the minimum safety standards, with a harness properly adjusted and fastened. Failure to do so will incur elimination from the competition. Hats must be marked to standard as per BRC rules.
- The Caledonian Riding Club do not accept any liability for accident or damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, ground spectators or any other persons or property.
- It is the responsibility of all competitors to ensure they are adequately insured to enter and compete
- The making of an entry implies acceptance of the conditions above
Entry Fees: £11.00 per class for Caledonian Riding Club members, £14.00 per class for non-members
