The day turned out lovely thank goodness. The committee got soaked the night before when setting up. We started at 10am with the dressage which gave the riders an opportunity to pick a test ride it get scored with no pressure of a competition. All riders were awarded a well done rosette. We also had pony club tests and area tests. This was to give riders taking part in North Cup and Area finals a chance to ride their test on grass. We wish all taking part the very best of luck.
Thanks to our dressage Judges Kimberley Battleday and Angela Christie . Angela is training to be a judge and will be sitting her first exam in due course. We were delighted to give her the opportunity to judge. Thanks also to Fiona Boyd our dressage steward
The course was built by Maggie Wylie and was inviting and challenging. Thanks to all our helpers Susan Mackenzie,Gordon Mackenzie and Freyja King-MacGregor with out additional help we would not be able to run these events so its very appreciated.
