Spring News
With the clocks going forward and more day light on the horizon we look forward to the start of the 2025 season .
We have some exciting news for our CRC members . We are offering evening club night training this is exclusively for members. This will be offered at a discounted rate . These nights are on our diary page on the Website Caledonianridingclub.scot.
Our first 2 training sessions of the year at Littleburn were very popular with both dates full booked . The added refreshments for riders and spectators were also well recieved.
Our first competion is the 12th April at the Black Isle Show Field. This will be our first league Dressage and Showjumping competion. The Dressage league rules have changed this year. We will have 3/4 Leagues Intro ,Prelim,Novice and Elementary (if there is enough interest). The new rules can be viewed on the Entry form. These changes have been made to make it fairer and encourage riders .
The schedule for our Summer Show will be out shortly so save the date Saturday 17th May . If anyone is able to help us set up on the Friday or help on the Saturday please let us know .We are launching a Rewards card for helping at our events. Help 3 times you get a free class entry . Help 6 times get a free training session.
Area 22 is the 7th and 8th June . If anyone is interested is going please can you let Becky Milns know.

BRC Whip Rules
Please be aware our classes will be run under BRC Whip rules .
This means that a whip can only be used twice in any incident within a round.
The Judge will use their discretion regarding an “incident “.
A baton type whip MUST be used. 60cm for ponies up the 14.2h and 70cm for horses over 14.2h.
The rule applies to all parts of the showground or venue we are using.
